Reviewing eligibility assessments

Use the assessment as a structured review aid while keeping the final eligibility judgment with your team.

Updated July 14, 2026

An eligibility assessment organizes the evidence against the project’s technological uncertainty, systematic investigation, and advancement. SREDlog does not make the final eligibility determination.

What to review

  • Whether the project boundary separates experimental work from routine development.
  • Whether each conclusion points to relevant contemporaneous evidence.
  • Whether failed approaches and intermediate results are represented accurately.
  • Whether gaps or contradictory records need follow-up before drafting forms.

Record your reviewer notes and resolve important gaps before relying on the assessment for narrative or financial decisions.
