Recording time and hours

Enter hours manually or import a spreadsheet, then review allocations before they reach claim calculations.

Time records connect the people doing the work to the projects being claimed. You can add entries directly or use the spreadsheet template for a larger import.

Manual entry

Open the claim or project time area, add the contributor, date, hours, and a concise description of the work. Link supporting evidence when it helps explain the entry.

Spreadsheet import

  1. Download the current template from the import flow.
  2. Keep its column headings unchanged and enter one time record per row.
  3. Upload the completed file and resolve any validation messages.
  4. Review the preview before approving the entries.

Approved entries remain as time records even if a linked evidence item is later removed. Their evidence link is cleared rather than deleting the hours.
