The GitLab connector retrieves summarized activity from only the projects a client approves. The client can authorize with OAuth or a personal access token, and the credential is encrypted at rest.
Connect approved projects
- Open the client portal and choose GitLab under integrations.
- Authorize with GitLab OAuth or enter a client-controlled access token.
- Select the projects that support the claim.
- Map each project to the relevant SR&ED project and run the first sync.
What enters SREDlog
SREDlog retrieves commit messages, timestamps, authorship, merge-request activity, and issue activity. It does not store source-code contents, write to GitLab, or inspect unapproved projects.
Disconnect or troubleshoot
Revoke the OAuth grant or token to stop future syncs. If a project is missing, confirm the authorizing account can read it and that it was selected in SREDlog.
