Connectors

Connecting Azure DevOps

Authorize Azure DevOps and retrieve read-only repository, work-item, and build activity from selected projects.

Updated July 20, 2026

The Azure DevOps connector uses Microsoft Entra OAuth and read-only scopes. A client chooses the organization and projects before anything is brought into a claim.

Connect an organization

  1. Open the client portal and choose Azure DevOps.
  2. Complete Microsoft authorization and select the organization.
  3. Choose the client-approved projects.
  4. Map each selection to the SR&ED project it supports and run the sync.

What enters SREDlog

SREDlog retrieves commit messages, contributor activity, changed work items, and build results for approved projects and the selected period. It does not store source-code contents or change repositories, work items, or builds.

Disconnect or troubleshoot

Revoke the OAuth grant to stop future syncs. If an organization or project does not appear, confirm the authorizing account has access and repeat the selection step.

Review the complete Azure DevOps data boundary and setup record.
