Integration
Slack Live connector
Authorize Slack, then use the Save to SREDlog message shortcut on a thread that documents a technical decision, test or dead end. SREDlog captures only that selected thread as evidence; it never bulk-syncs the workspace.
What SREDlog takes in
- The selected message and available thread replies. If Slack cannot return the full thread, the selected message is preserved with a note
- Message timestamps and display names needed to preserve the discussion
- A source link back to the saved Slack thread
What it never touches
- The workspace is never bulk-synced or searched for evidence
- Channels and threads you do not explicitly save are not captured
- SREDlog never edits or deletes source messages
